The highly anticipated VeeFriends Series 2 NFT collection is set to launch this April starting with our “Friends List” on April 18th. VeeFriends Series 2 comes almost a year after the genesis collection of VeeFriends which launched in May 2021, and is releasing just before our first ever VeeCon, an annual 3 year Web3 mega-conference created for Series 1 holders. With the total token supply of VeeFriends Series 2 being 55,555 and a mint price of $995 priced in Ethereum on the day before launch, many are excited at the opportunity to now be able to own a VeeFriends NFT and join the community.
This guide will give you all you need to know on how to get a VeeFriends Series 2 and will be updated as new information is announced. VeeFriends Series 2 mint price will be 0.335 ETH. Series 2 consists of 251 characters, including 236 characters from Series 1 and 15 new characters who are officially being introduced to the VeeFriends universe.
Each Series 2 Character will have a total supply of 220 tokens (apart from Gift Goat, which will be 555 1/1s) comprised of:
- 214 tokens which will all be 1/1 uniquely generated combinations of the character in one of six different poses and in front of one of the fifty-five Series 2 backgrounds.
- 6 Character Spectacular 1/1’s: Bubble Gum, Diamond, Hologram, Gold, Lava, and one new addition to the Spectacular family to be announced soon.
The total supply of Series 2 is 55,555 NFTs and with 4 mint periods to get a VeeFriends Series 2:
- Friends List (32,000 Supply) | 4/18/22
- Series 1 Free Claim (10,255 Supply) | 4/18/22
- Public Mint (10,000 Supply) | Date: 4/25/22
- 15 New Characters (3,300 Supply) | Date: 4/27/22
Once a Series 2 NFT is minted, it will be yours to sell if you choose to do so on the secondary market, but no character artwork will be revealed until the public mint ends.
On April 5th, 2022 at 1 PM EDT VeeFriends will draw the wallet addresses and their corresponding mint allocation for the VeeFriends Series 2 Friends List (our version of a whitelist) which will officially launch on April 18th! 32,000 BOOK GAMES out of 120,000 BOOK GAMES tokens (approximately 28% excluding Gary-owned tokens) will be randomly selected to enable their corresponding wallet addresses to guaranteed mints for Series 2 during the Friends List window on April 18th.
After April 5th, 2022 at 1 PM EDT, BOOK GAMES tokens will no longer make you eligible to be on the Friends List. The Friends List will be considered filled and Friends List minting will start on April 18th and last until April 25th @ 12:01 AM EDT. Any NFTs left unminted during the Friends List period will then be rolled over to the general public mint supply.
No actions are required to be selected for the Friends List if you own a BOOK GAMES NFT. The Friends List will be a random drawing at 1 PM EDT on April 5th. Once drawn, you can check on the Series 2 site (link to come) if your wallet was selected and with how many mint allocations.
If you are selected, you DO NOT need to burn your BOOK GAMES tokens, however, you will need to pay in ETH for mint price + gas. You will have until April 25th @ 12:01 AM EDT to mint your allocated amount and will be able to mint in batches if you’d like.
All VeeFriends Series 2 NFTs minted during the Friends List will be randomly generated VeeFriends Series 2 characters (excluded from Friends List are the 15 new characters + Spectacular types) and will be in the pre-reveal state until public mint ends.

By owning a Series 1 VeeFriends NFT you will be able to claim for free (plus gas) a Series 2 NFT of their current character(s). Series 1 holders will receive exclusive access to a special character “pose” called “Evolving” (Poses will be a big trait in Series 2). In other words, the evolving pose may not be the rarest, but in our opinion will be the most sought-after pose of all. The Series 2 characters in their Evolving poses will only be able to be claimed by VeeFriends Series 1 holders and can only be claimed by having VeeFriends Series 1 NFT(s) in your wallet.
Series 1 Spectacular Token(s) will be receiving the same character that they own not in “evolving pose”, but now in their special Series 2 Spectacular form! The Spectacular for Series 2 characters is no longer just a background property, but the entire character has now evolved into the Spectacular type. This means that all the Series 2 Spectaculars (Bubble Gum, Diamond, Hologram, Gold, Lava) will be owned by the Series 1 Spectacular holders (excluding the 15 new characters and Surprise new 6th Type), and there will be none in the general mint!
Please note that the start of claiming for the free Series 2 NFT for Series 1 holders starts on April 18, so there is still an opportunity to purchase a Series 1 NFT for the free claim. Once the claiming period is live, there will be a Token ID Checker on the VeeFriends website where you can see if a Series 1 VeeFriends NFT has been used or not to claim the corresponding free Series 2 NFT. Public mint will have a total supply of 10,000. Additionally, any unminted NFTs during the Friends List advantage period will go to the General store for Public Mint.
Included in the public mint, there will also be an auction for the new Spectacular of 236 characters listed for bidding on OpenSea (official link to come). This is the only way to get one of the characters from VeeFriends Series 1 in the new unannounced 6th spectacular form in Series 2. More details to come.
There will be 15 new characters (220 tokens per character) introduced into VeeFriends through Series 2. As mentioned above, all Series 2 characters (besides Gift Goat) have 214 randomly 1/1 generated combinations of poses and backgrounds + 6 one of one Spectacular (Bubble Gum, Diamond, Hologram, Gold, Lava, Surprise Type TBA).
After the Friends List mint, one of the 15 new character’s non-spectacular tokens will be made available per day over the course of 15 days, with an additional 16th Spectacular day combining all 6 Spectacular types of the 15 new characters (90 total) with the start date of April 27th.
NOTE: Friends List and the 15 new character burn are exclusive of each other. You may own 5 BOOK GAMES tokens for the Friends List drawing on April 5th at 1 PM EDT and non-selected for the 12.5-day early access mint, but still, be able to burn them for one of the 15 new characters.
For each new character raffle, holders with the eligible BOOK GAMES token requirements will be able to enter a 24-hour raffle for that specific character. After 24 hours, that raffle will close and 214 entries will be randomly generated to burn their BOOK GAMES tokens for that character. All entrants will need to return back to the site to check the status of their raffle entry.
The raffle eligibility is determined by the latest token ID entry, and the selected wallet address is then eligible for burning. Note, if you sell any of the tokens used in the raffle entry before the 24-hour raffle period closes and if used by someone else, your existing entry will be disqualified. You must own the same eligible BOOK GAMES tokens in the same wallet used to enter the raffle during the 24 hour entry period. Meaning, that if you buy a BOOK GAMES token on TokenTrove that has already entered the 24-hour raffle, once bought, the previous entry with the same BOOK GAMES token ID will be disqualified. For an entry to remain eligible during a raffle, you must hold the same tokens throughout the duration of that 24 hour period until the raffle closes. Then, the qualified wallet address can mint with any required tokens of their choice.
If your wallet was successfully selected, you will become eligible to burn the required BOOK GAMES tokens by May 31st, 2022. You will then receive a randomly generated (unique combination of pose and background) Series 2 new character. If your entry is not selected, your tokens will remain in your wallet and not be burnt.
All 6 Spectacular types of the 15 new characters (90 total) will be combined in a “raffle” on the 16th day for “Spectacular Day”.
